Location
The Events is located at the gateway to Queensland's cosmopolitan Sunshine Coast, where the natural beauty of both blue sea and glasslike mountains are only one hour's drive from the Brisbane airport and only 30 minutes away from the Sunshine Coast Airport.

The Events Centre's central location means that hundreds of accommodation rooms ranging from basic cabins to 5 star apartments with panoramic coastal and mountain views, are within a short stroll from the centre. The variety of surrounding accommodation will ensure that your conference delegates have a real choice in accommodation that will appeal to any budget and style.
Catering Information
The Events Centre has an onsite cafe, and full catering facilities for breakout meals and functions. If your delegates prefer to dine externally, The Events Centre is conviently located only minutes walk from Caloundra's many restaurants, cafes and retail outlets.
Recreational Facilities
The Events Centre is located two blocks from beautiful beaches, peaceful waterways, pools, gyms and parks. Pre and post tours for self-driven or coach guests can be coordinated to meet delegates interests. Options include trips to the Glass House Mountains; Australia Zoo; The Big Kart Track; Aussie World and Ettamogah Pub; Underwater World; Horseback Riding; Kayaking and Crusises through Pumicestone Passage and arts and craft markets.
Technical Facilities
Being the largest multi purpose venue in South East regional Queensland, The Event Centre offers a range of six spaces all under the one roof. The expansive flat floor space is so versatile, the centre can seat up to 900 delegates for a conference, hold banquet dinners for up to 600 pax and offer product display space for anywhere between 50 and 100 booths for expo events. The Centre is also a fully equipped live performance venue with a 18m x 12m permanent stage, fly tower, overhead trusses on chain motors and a state of the art sound and lighting inventory.

The Events Centre can provide professional Event Management services to assist with all your event requirements. A secretariat is available complimentary to all large conferences.
