Offering sole occupancy to groups of 4-12 delegates, Melba Lodge is perfect for an executive retreat or for small management or sales teams. We offer a choice of inhouse dining or transport to nearby restaurants such as Eleonore's at Chateau Yering and Balgownie . With 4 star B&B style accommodation, all rooms have ensuites, air conditioning & TV's, some with spas. Our well equipped conference room features plenty of natural light. Our billiard room and bar features a three quarter size snooker table. The lodge also has a 6 person spa room.
Located in the Yarra Valley, we are only one hour from Melbourne and 45 minutes via the ring Road from the airport. We offer arrange winery tours, golf at The Heritage and hot air ballooning as team building and relaxation activities.
Location
Melba Lodge is perfectly located in Yarra Glen, the heart of the Yarra Valley. Only an hour from the CBD and 45 minutes from the Melbourne airport we are far enough away to allow your group to escape without having to drive hours to get there. Close to great wineries and restaurants, your group can enjoy many of the pleasures of the Yarra Valley.
Accommodation
Melba Lodge has 9 ensuited rooms, 2 with personal spas. An extra 2 rooms are also available adjacent to the Lodge. The Lodge features an elegant dining room, 3 guest lounges that work well as break out rooms, a billiard room and bar and a 6 person spa room. A large outdoor courtyard is accessed directly from the conference room where delegates can get plenty of fresh air and sunshine.
Catering Information
Melba Lodge offers full catering for your conference needs. Our country style home cooked meals never fail to impress. We also offer transport to nearby restaurants such as Eleonore's at Chateau Yering, Balgownie and the Grand Hotel (7 days) and Cru (Thurs-Sun).
Recreational Facilities
On site Melba Lodge has a three quarter size snooker table in our billiard room, with a 6 person spa also available. We can offer tennis at courts only a 5 minute walk away and golf at the magnificent Jack Nicklaus masterpiece at The Heritage Golf & Country Club. We can also arrange golf on other nearby courses. Horse riding is available only 5-10 minutes from the Lodge. Lawn Bowls with instruction is a favourite with many groups
