Location
Great Keppel Island lies like a palm fringed oasis in the Coral Sea, a white sand retreat of beaches and bays a mere fifteen kilometres off central Queenslands Capricorn Coast. Rockhampton is serviced by the major domestic and regional airlines. Qantas / QantasLink, Jetstar and Virgin Blue fly from Brisbane to Rockhampton Airport daily.
The following transfer options are available:
Launch - 30 minutes by high speed catamaran from Rosslyn Bay. Coach connections are available from Rockhampton Airport to Rosslyn Bay.
Air - 20 minutes by light aircraft from Rockhampton.
Accommodation
The resort offers 181 rooms in 3 styles of accommodation. All rooms have balconies, private bathroom, phone, TV, fridge, ceiling fan, tea/coffee facilities.
Garden View Rooms are located near the Reception Building overlooking the tennis courts and golf course within easy access to the resort facilities.
Beachfront Rooms located either side of Keppels Restaurant have direct access to the northern and southern ends of Fishermans Beach complete with stunning views.
Hillside Villas feature air conditioning, are split level and command spectacular views over the Golf Course, resort grounds and the Capricorn Coasts neighbouring Islands.
Catering Information
Great Keppel Island offers an incredible conference experience, complete with private conference rooms, extensive catering options and all your audio visual requirements. With the Great Keppel conference experience anything is possible from a casual BBQ around one of our poolside venues, to a gala dinner or themed function in your own nightclub or on one of our white sandy beaches.
Recreational Facilities
Great Keppel Island offers an amazing choice of free leisure activities and team building options including Golf, Beach Cricket, Volleyball and Snorkelling, as well as partner programs for your delegates. Also available are a range of tours and activities including Island Jet ski Tours, Sunset Cruises and Camel Treks, organized at an additional cost. The resort also features Dry Spa Pamper packages for total relaxation, and Gecko Kids Club for child care needs.
Technical Facilities
Whiteboard and Markers, Flipchart, Overhead Projector and Screen are included in all Conference Day Packages. We can also assist with the hire of electronic whiteboards, data projectors and any other special audio visual requirements prices on application.
